Nagsasa Cove
Zambales, San Antonio Pundaquit
June 7-8 2008
Objective: A.M.O.C Mountaineering Club exploration at the Nagsasa Cove
Its Zambales Madness! we cant get enough of the beautiful islands of Zamabales in San Antonio, Pundaquit. Finally we had already reached this beautiful island of Zaambales the Nagsasa Cove. It was originally scheduled last May but due to typhoon "COSME" it was postponed. Nagsasa Cove is much better than Anawangin Island, the scenery of its landscapes, the refreshing blue and crystal clear waters of the beach, additional show of the flying fish, beautiful background of Mt. Balingkilat a.k.a pointed peak, feel the morning breeze, the warm and accomodating people of Nagsasa (the aetas), who helped us to fetched water for our cooking, for our dishes and for taking a bath. Nagsasa Cove is a peaceful and a quite place unlike the Anawangin Island wich is crowded during the summer season, here you can relax and appreciate the beauty of nature. This place is full of surprises and beauty at its best! Thanks to our contact at Pundaquit for giving us the information of this beautiful "virgin" island.
After our trip at Nagsasa Cove we went to another island the following day. We went to Camara Island and we also discover the beauty and the great white beaches of Zambales. (View the Album of Camara Island in my home page "Camara Island")
